Wow, I just had my dog put to sleep like a week ago =[, so I know how you feel.. The first night we had her put to sleep, I came home from my aunts house and as I was fixing to get out of the car, I started calling her name but soon realized she wasn't there anymore and I just busted into tears. 
Why did you have Maddie put to sleep? We had to have my dog put to sleep because she got preg. by a bigger dog and when it was time for her to have them she was way too small to get them out, and she was in alot of pain, so we took her to the vet and they said they could try and get the pups out and see if they could save her life, but if she did live she would be in alot of pain for a while, so we just had her put to sleep =[, ugh it just about killed me!

some ppl may say "it was just a dog" or "your friends aren't gone forever," but no, she wasn't just a dog. she was one of your best friends, your companion, someone you could tell everything to!!! you don't get that sort of companionship everyday.  i had a cat almost my entire childhood, and when i lost him, my world fell apart.  and yes, your friends aren't gone forever, but you never know. they definitely won't be there to see them when you want to.

its a crappy situation, and i am sooooo sorry!!!! just keep your chin up and you'll be okay. plus, you have ur friends on MDD if you need us!!!
